Hi, I am Jiahao Xiao, a Ph.D. student at Texas A&M University, advised by Prof. Suryansh Kumar. Before joining TAMU, I received my bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2025, where I worked closely with Dr. Zhengxue Cheng. I also spent a gap year at Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, supervised by Prof. Guangtao Zhai and Chunyi Li. My research interests cover embodied AI, multimodal AI, and perception. I am especially interested in the ability of robots and other intelligent agents to acquire general-purpose capabilities through learning and interaction.
